The Osaka location of the famed Wolfgang’s Steakhouse can be found on the tenth floor of the commercial building LUCUA 1100, directly connected to Osaka Station and a five-minute walk from Umeda Station.
Founded in the US in 2004, Wolfgang’s quickly attracted a strong following before expanding rapidly, with Osaka being the restaurant’s third opening. Wolfgang Zwiener, the restaurant’s founder, originally worked at a prestigious New York steakhouse for over 40 years as a server, using this experience of putting guests first to enhance the experience at his eponymous restaurants.
Few focus on the quality of the selection, storage, and aging of the meat as they do here. The restaurant selects only rare Prime Grade USDA beef that is matured for 28 days in a custom aging warehouse under strict temperature and humidity control. Steaks are cut and seared on a 900°C grill, creating a flavoursome crust and a juicy interior when sliced -- the perfect steak. Meat is cut into thick slices, with the signature T-bone steak an opportunity to enjoy both the sirloin and fillet cuts at the same time.
As well as steak, classic accompaniments like mashed potatoes and creamed spinach are encouraged, while a variety of appetizers and side dishes offers guests the ability to customise their experience. Over 1,000 bottles of wine from across the world are offered to guests to pair with their meal.
Inside the spacious dining room, 90 tables, 12 counter seats and a 14-seat private dining room are available for guests. Dark wood panelling and ambient lighting creating a noble, luxurious atmosphere -- the perfect environment to enjoy fine steaks. Ideal for celebrations, family get-togethers, dates, and entertaining.
