A tiny poultry specialty "Uzura-ya" with 8 counter seats, located alongside the kamo River next to Gion-Shijo Station, Kyoto. Tidy and calm, a hidden gem for adults.

Tankai free-range chicken to duck, partridge, columba etc., charcoal-grilled to the perfect doneness. Besides poultry and pork, seasonal Kyoto vegetable also recommended. The just be perfect charcoal grilling is a unforgettable culinary experience. Specialty is the "Raw Tsukune" serving in yuzu flavor.

Selection of sake, shochu, wine, champagne etc, certainly satisfy you with alcoholic. Pairing course with drinks is recommended. English menu and vegetarian meal are available, foreigner guests with vegetarian diet can be pleased while traveling in Kyoto.
