Hozenji Nakatani is located in Osaka's Hozenji-temple neighborhood, the downtown area with a calm atmosphere. Chef Hiroyuki Nakatani achieved independence in 2015 after training in Sushi Noguchi in Kitashinchi.
The chef focuses on domestically produced ingredients, and go around fish shops with direct contact, and uses expert judgment skills that emphasize fishing methods and conditions. The sushi rice is seasoned with a kind of sake lees vinegar and the top-class sushi ingredients are selected, to make delicate sushi. Based on chef's wish to serve Japanese sake that accentuates the sushi that matches the meal of Hare no Hi, there are about 10 kinds of seasonal sake, mainly Junmai Daiginjo and Daiginjo. The restaurant selects items that are not too assertive and go well with sushi. It is also recommended to tell your preference for recommendation.
The interior is made in a simple Japanese-style space, with only 8 seats on the warm cypress counter. You can enjoy the exquisite consistency of skilled craftsmanship in any situation with your family, friends and loved ones.
