“Sushi Konatahanata” is located near Nakajima Park, within a reasonable walking distance from Susukino in downtown Sapporo.
The name of the restaurant, "Konata Katata" means "here and there. It represents the concept of purchasing seafood and other ingredients from various places in Hokkaido and preparing a wide variety of dishes. The rice is 100% Yumepirika, produced by a farmer in Yuni-cho from rice grown exclusively for the restaurant, and the vinegar is carefully blended and prepared in every step of the process.
The drink menu includes over 2,000 bottles of wine as well as Japanese sake. Our experienced sommelier suggests "natural wines" with powerful flavors that you should definitely try with sushi. It is rare to find a sushi restaurant in Japan that offers such a wide selection of wines.
The quiet tearoom-like interior has an L-shaped counter made of solid white wood (5 seats), with a hori-kotatsu style. Despite the serious atmosphere, the welcome is warm at Sushi Konatahanata: "Please feel free to visit us".
