Enjoy seasonal Italian dishes prepared by an experienced chef and a master pizzaiolo with sweeping views across Tokyo

Steps from Otemachi Station, easily accessible from Tokyo’s financial district, the Imperial Palace, and commercial facilities, PIGNETO opened in September 2020 atop the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, a five-star hotel housed in Otemachi One. This chic Italian restaurant is designed to allow diners to experience the joy of abbondanza (living a life of plenty) in a relaxed atmosphere as if they were at home with family.

Chef de cuisine Yoshihiro Kigawa, who trained extensively under a starred chef in Italy, has great knowledge, expertise, and sensitivity which translates in his spectacular dishes. Meanwhile, specialty pizza chef Alessandro Luca de Leo, hailing from Naples, brings the traditional art of pizza making, handed down for generations, to the restaurant.

At this stylish restaurant, guests enjoy not only panoramic views of Tokyo’s epicenter, including the Imperial Palace Gardens and distant views of Mt. Fuji on sunny days, but also a dazzling variety of traditional Italian dishes prepared from seasonal ingredients in a relaxed environment. Each authentic Italian dish, such as chef Kigawa’s handmade pasta, pizzas by chef Alessandro, and T-bone steak cooked with a Toscana oven, are impressive by any measure. Diners can take a seat beside one of the four open kitchens and enjoy the theatre of the chefs at work.

The Italian-leaning wine list offers wines made from hand-picked grapes at boutique wineries in Italy as well as a selection of free flow drinks, while food and wine pairings elevate the experience further.

PIGNETO has 118 seats in a spacious high-ceilinged dining room with large windows that allow natural light to enter freely, and 44 seats on an outdoor terrace (only available on sunny days from April to October). The discreet monochrome interior invites lingering and intimate conversations. Guests are invited to enjoy seasonal Italian dishes prepared by experienced chefs at PIGNETO, a restaurant perfect for a range of occasions, such as business dinners, dates, and intimate family meals.
