A restaurant in Ginza run by a prominent chef who has presented Japanese cuisine to the world for years to offer innovative cuisine grounded in traditional flavors

Ginza Inaba is a five- to six-minute walk from Tokyo Metro or JR Shimbashi Station in Ginza, Tokyo, which is known as a gourmet destination filled with renowned restaurants. The magnificent stone slab and white plastered wall reminiscent of those of a traditional Japanese house make guests proud to patronize the restaurant.

Ginza Inaba is helmed by Chef Masanobu Inaba, who was born in Asakusa, Tokyo, in 1967. He served as a sous chef at Roku Roku Edo-mae Sushi in Grand Hyatt Tokyo when it opened in 2003. He was also involved as a chef in the opening of Kazahana in Conrad Tokyo and was instrumental in the restaurant being awarded the Great Hotel Restaurant Award by the US hospitality industry magazine “Hotels.” He personally received the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award (which is given to those who have contributed to the spread of Japanese culture and international cultural exchange) in 2014 for evolving and presenting Japanese cuisine to the world. In 2016, he was offered the position of executive chef at Amanemu in Mie by Aman Resorts. After his long service in hotels, he eventually opened Ginza Inaba, his first independent restaurant named after him, in 2021.
Ginza Inaba offers a multi-course dinner menu that celebrates the seasonal flavors of Japan based on the chef’s experience in the culinary world. The chef’s specialty, “Mesh-grilled Kuroge Wagyu Chateaubriand Steak,” features a precious cut of Chateaubriand grilled over charcoal in front of guests and served with homemade soy-based sauce. Meanwhile, “Shark Fin in Brown Sauce” is served in a pot filled with a Japanese style soup that combines white chicken bone broth and seasonal seafood broth. The restaurant also offers food and sake pairings.

The interior of the main dining room with an eight-seat counter and two private rooms seating up to four people (adjustable) is elegant, simple, and full of wood accents. The impressive kitchen stove on the counter is a symbol of the restaurant and is used to grill seasonal dishes, such as straw-grilled bonito, in front of guests.
Ginza Inaba is perfect for business dinners, date nights, and gourmet gatherings. The restaurant also pays close attention to both its dishes and service to make anniversaries and other celebrations unforgettable. In addition, a breakfast menu is offered to allow guests to discover new aspects of Inaba.
Please enjoy the delicious dishes and memorable moments offered by Ginza Inaba.
