""Reine des prés"" is a world gourmet guide award French restaurant located near the Kyoto Imperial Palace and only a 3-minute walk from Jingu-Marutamachi Station in Kyoto. Meadowsweet objets d'art can be enjoyed in its stylish interior that has been created with a theme of wood and stones.
The owner chef Mr. Nakahara, received training at restaurants such as ""Arpege"", a world gourmet guide award restaurant in Paris, France. His cooking concept is ""ingredients × heating × simplicity"". Chef Nakahara visits food-producing regions himself to carefully select all the ingredients. Low temperature heating brings out the best of the ingredients, and dishes created in this manner are simple and avoid unnecessary wastage. Surprisingly, just changing the heating process of ingredients creates a different texture and flavor.
